Refund and cancellation policy

This policy explains how to cancel a Kernyl subscription and when we give refunds. It is part of our terms of service.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time by emailing [contact email] from your billing contact address. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your subscription stays active until the end of the year you have paid for. We confirm every cancellation by email.

Subscription refunds

• First year: if you cancel within [number] days of your first purchase, we refund the subscription fee in full.
• After that: subscription fees are not refunded for the remainder of a paid year, including after a renewal, unless the law requires it.
• Our side: if we cannot deliver what you paid for, or end the subscription for reasons that are not your fault, we refund the unused part of your subscription.

Installation fee

The one-time installation fee of $10,000 is refundable in full until installation work begins. Once we have started the installation with your team, it is not refundable.

Cloud costs

Kernyl runs in your own cloud account. Infrastructure and AI usage there are billed to you by your cloud provider and are not part of our fees, so we cannot refund them.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, usually within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
